A period working with the GeoData Institute at Southampton University then led to the establishment of his GIS consultancy in 1993. Working with "SPANS" GIS Dave undertook development and data conversion and integration projects with various organisations such as ETSU GIS Europe December 1995

Dave has worked productively with Ordnance Survey for many years, having "graduated" from the first ever Accredited Data Consultant course, and operated as a Licensed OS Develpment Partner. He has many contacts across the GI industry who can help in refining ideas and solutions.
